Prior to entering the ‘family business’, Nesha worked as a psychologist, recruiter, change management consultant, project manager and corporate trainer (among other things!) Nesha loves to learn, and finally completed her Cert IV in Training as well as a host of short courses and workshops. She strives to impart this love with her staff and all of our children. Nesha was the President of Australian Childcare Alliance New South Wales for 4 years and is the Australian Childcare Alliance’s national Vice President.

Nesha has two children, Dylan and Olivia, some very strange cats, and a mischievous dog, Loki, who lives up to his name. She is negotiating her way through single parenting. You can often see Nesha helping feed the homeless on Sundays at Street Buffet.

BA Education (early childhood)

Lorna has worked in child care since 1999 and spent four years teaching before taking on a position as Director in 2003. She has a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood. Lorna won the 2009 Australian Family Fisher Price Award for NSW/ACT Director of the Year. She and Nesha took over the ownership of Top Ryde Early Learning in 2009.

Lorna loves her job and is really enjoying part time work and full time mothering!

In her spare time, Lorna loves to cook, take photographs and travel to interesting places around the world. She lives with her husband of 15 years, Phil, and her sons, Connor, aged 10  and Declan, aged 4 who also attends Top Ryde Early Learning.


Director / Nominated Supervisor / Early Childhood Teacher

Elizabeth has a Bachelor in Early Childhood and Primary Education, Birth to 12 Years, and has been working in the industry since 2008. She has a strong belief in early language and its importance in our community. She has a particular passion for working with the preschool children and supporting them to gain skills, as they get ready to transition to primary school. She is a Teaching Director and loves the challenge of juggling both roles.

Elizabeth lives with her mum, dad and two sisters and loves fashion and design, spending lots of spare time developing her interests and researching the latest in fashion. She loves to travel, listen to music and has a goal to research more about the importance and impact environments can have on children’s learning.




Jacqueline joined Top Ryde Early Learning in January 2017. She has been working in early childhood since 2011, commencing at one of Nesha’s past centres before joining us. She has her Certificate III in Children’s Services and she is currently studying for her Diploma of Early Childhood and Care. Jacqueline has a love for all things early childhood and has a passion for embracing a holistic approach to children’s learning. Jacqueline is our recycling and sustainability champion.

In her spare time Jacqueline loves going on adventures around Sydney, finding new and interesting places to explore. She also loves spending time with her husband, gardening at home.



Pina has been working in early childhood since 1995. After having a break to have a family, Pina returned to her love of early childhood and began working at Top Ryde Early Learning in 2011. She has a Certificate III in Children’s Services and completed her Diploma in Children’s Services in 2016. 

Pina lives with her two children Kristin and Blade and in her spare time enjoys bike riding, walks and taking her children out for fun experiences. Pina is extremely proud of her children’s achievements: Kristin is a competitive gymnast and Blade is talented in many different sports. Pino hopes to one day master the art of rolling her own fresh spring rolls (bánh tráng).


Early Childhood Teacher 

Amanda has had over three decades of experience in early childhood and couldn’t imagine working in any other career. She has a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education. Amanda has been working with Nesha and Lorna for close to fifteen years and decided to join the team at Top Ryde Early Learning in January 2017. Amanda has a world of knowledge and incorporates this into everything she does with the children; she also uses it to inspire the educators around her. 

Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends exploring the wonders of Sydney. She also loves to immerse herself in a good book. She has two cats, with whom she chats constantly.





Natasha started her traineeship in March 2016. She completed her Certificate III in Children’s Services and is now delving into the world of university where she is studying her degree in Early Childhood (Birth-12). As well as early childhood, Natasha has a passion for cooking, which displays on a regular basis in the centre’s kitchen. She also loves to get creative and is an advocate for promoting children’s healthy eating

Natasha is an animal lover and is very passionate about the welfare of all animals. She loves spending time with her family and playing with her cat, Guppy.
